Kuch Pal

--------------

My maiden attempt at hindi poetry! :) inspired by my fellow poets at

Do dissect ..for one i know it sounds too lyrical ! :(

okie my two yens about the poem
first the nit picking
how do u juxtapose suljhana with ithlana

And shrinkla by itself means a series. Kadi means series too. don't you think series of a series is way too confusing for a few moments?

loved loved loved the last two lines

pathar si zindagi se takra kar
sagar mein bikharte huye kuch pal

upon reading I got the visual of waves breaking against the rocks. receding and regrouping only to get dashed again. beautiful and breathtaking.

Bilbo!
thanks much for the comments! :)
srinkhala vs kadi
what i was trying to say was that the kadi ( the pal) was the element in the chain that was the srinkhala ..
the kadi is a subset of the superset srinkhala ( my interp totally ...please correct me if Im wrong!)

suljhana and ithlana ..
some conflict ... where argument and conclusion is confronted with coquettishness... ( male Vs female stereotypes)

thanks much for the encouragement ! :)

My bad totally, u are right abt the shrinkhla and kadi bit. Kadi means link and not another series. Sorry about that one.
I can see the stereotype now. But I totally did not see it earlier. One draw back of being the " one of them " gal :P

Darn , I really am forgetting hindi in this nihongo mess . :(

Would you mind, If I blogroll you?
